Course aim and objectives: This course provides the required knowledge for the training and assessment of maritime specialists, seafarers and onshore or offshore personnel according to STCW Reg. I/6 and the guidelines of IMO Model courses 6.09, 3.12 & 1.30 for maritime instructors and assessors. Participants will become qualified in the process of organizing and instructing maritime trainings as well as performing on the job competency assessments by learning instructional, presentation, planning and assessment techniques required for enhancing professional development of shipping company office staff, seafarers or offshore specialist personnel.
Course participation: The course is open to maritime instructors and assessors, managers, superintendents, and shipping or offshore company personnel with responsibilities for the training and assessment of seafarers and offshore specialist personnel
Course duration: 3 days This training program is provided in 18-hours with real time instruction through zoom platform in three 6-hour pre-scheduled interactive learning sessions. Upon registration a link shall be provided to participants for accessing the course
Course Schedule: 10:00 – 17:00 hours daily (including 30 minutes additional time daily for Q & A and completion of classwork))
